Richard Sykes has joined ABM as SVP and President, UK andIreland. Richard is a strong leader with a proven track record for accelerating growth for global operations, building effective teams and driving transformation across large, multi-billion-dollar businesses.
As we continue our efforts to elevate the client and team member experiences, we are focused on strengthening our organisation to accelerate growth while creating greater connectivity, collaboration and partnership across our operations and functional teams.
In this role, Richard will leadABM’s European business and develop our growth strategy to drive profitability and build upon our capabilities through new services and segments, cross selling and inorganic growth.
Richard is a dynamic, growth-minded leader with extensive experience leading global operations, Merger & Acquisition transactions and cultural integration in highly competitive industries. Most notably, Richard served as regional CEO atISS in various capacities over the last decade, where he led a multi-billion-dollar book of business, drove strategic transformation, and built strong leader ship teams that increased client and team member retention and satisfaction. Richard has an MBA from The Open University and a BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying atKingston University. Richard is a forward-thinking innovator and has featured asa recognised thought leader in podcasts and webinars on a broad range of business leadership and pioneering tech innovation. He has a keen interest in supporting STEM charities and drives ABM community outreach and charity partnerships with our teams in the UK and Ireland.
